(DISCLAIMER. All comments about software relate to Windows vista Home premium, I have not tried to install this on an earlier windows verson and it may be trouble fee if used with those. MAY be.
Unless you are a techhy type who loves trouble shooting then if you are running vista)Please do not buy this. It can be persuaded to work under vista (home premium in my case) but it is not easy!
I did get it running after a titanic struggle but dont ask me for details. I didnt use the software that came with it (hint). Search for FMS.exe and download the latest version that matches your hardware/os combination Oh yes and turn off textures if your screen breaks up!! There is also some fiddling about locating an older .dll that no longer comes with windows (since vista) but if you have decided to buy this despite my recommendation that you dont, i wont spoil your fun when it is delivered and you have to get your anorak and open toed sandals out in order to plough through the forum which is on the fms website. ( another hint).
Throttle on the left hand stick.
This is a simple controller box (I have seen worse) USB connected It took me about 5 hours to trouble shoot it.two
Conclusion? As a training aid,it is almost ok, does the job but at how much effort to get running.
I would rether have spent more and not had the hassle.

Great way to learn to fly r/c planes and helicopters. The only pain is having to reset all the values when switching from planes to helicopters. It is difficult for kids to set up! Good value though!

very good service, delivered on time. came with disk and radio controls with USB port boxed up. Not all instructions are explained in booklet took sometime to set up and get ready to fly. But overall very good would recommend this to anyone else.
