This is a quality car mount for my Desire S. It's been attached to the windscreen for over a month now and hasn't fallen off once! The construction is very solid and gives a good impression when twisting the main mount around in its holder (see below for the reason I have to do this). It also fits the Desire S's shape perfectly and exposes the power and audio "ports".

There are just two issues that I have with this:
1. The thing doesn't extend very far from the windscreen so in my car (a Ford Focus), the top of the Desire S is very close to the windscreen. So close in fact that I can't put it in or take it out without twisting the handset holder around to about 60 degrees so that the top is facing to the left. Maybe the Focus has a more angled screen than a "regular" car but I doubt it. At first, I was really annoyed with this as my last one was far enough away from the windscreen to allow me to simply drop the handset in from the top and then slide it back out. Then I realized that I could rotate the handset holder anti-clockwise so that I can slide my handset out to the left rather than from the top. I also discovered that I could push it in from the front of the holder rather than sliding it in from the top. It's a bit annoying having to rotate the thing every time I want to remove the handset and after I've inserted it but I've kind of got used to it. And when I rotate it, it makes a very satisfying clicking noise - it's very sturdy. Another issue with the position of it so close to the windscreen is that you need a right-angle audio cable plugged in to the top of the device because a straight one wouldn't fit due to the windscreen being in the way. I already had one of these so it wasn't a problem for me.

100% satisfied. Everything works as it should and the screen protector was simple to fit. Great value for money.

This fits my Desire S well, with appropriate spaces around the edges to allow charging, headphone socket etc. It adheres well to my windscreen well and the phone is easy to place within the cradle. The charger's spiral lead is just about long enough to reach as well.
The downsides are:
Due to its close fit I need to remove my phone's silicone case (but I knew that already from other reviews)
The phone is held in one part over the volume down control, and if the phone is held horizontally with the volume controls at the bottom, the weight of the phone/car vibrations will push on the volume button and reduce the volume. This can be rectified by having the volume controls on the upper side, but then the charging socket also points upwards.

Overall a good product with a few minor niggles which are not insurmountable.....

I have no problem with the company selling this product.

My only problem lies with the product itself. The retaining arm, located on the left hand side of the cradle, used to hold the phone securely in place (and it does), the arm sits directly on the lower part of the volume control button. Without you knowing it, it mutes you ring tone. I missed several calls before I realised what was happening. So I don't use the holder anymore.

If the manufacturers read these comments I would recommend that they move the retaining arm a few millimetres lower, to clear the volume control button.
