We are traveling to Italy next year for an extended vacation with the entire family. We have purchased Rosetta Stone software and these great flashcards to prepare. We get the family around the table. Each family member gets 10 cards. Everyone has a notebook and a pen. We take turns flashing the 10 cards to each other, and we write down the meanings. Then, we all take 15 minutes to study. Finally, since there are five of us, we have 50 phrases and words to be tested on. We then have a "quiz" and each person holds up their cards again for the quiz. It's fun, it supplements the Rosetta Stone (which is fantastic), and we are all learning Italian, slowly but surely. The cards are plentiful, they were a great deal! They were shipped beautifully too! Also, we ordered the small pocket Barrons Italian phrase book. We figured we will each have one of those for the actual trip. It's great as it has the English to Italian and Italian to English in the back. Get the Flash Cards for fun! We even do them in the car!
