I purchased the Fiskars dressmaking scissors as a result of using this brand for over 25 years. The quality of these scissors is second to none, they are made to last. I personally put scissors through a lot of hard work and these always come out on top. I use scissors every day in my business and they are dropped quite frequently, so this should give you some idea of how good a make Fiskars are. They stay sharp for a long period of time, they do not break and get thrown out of line when dropped frequently so a good brand to stay with.

These scissors are great . They are really sharp and comfortable to use . The way they are moulded fit neatly in your hand . They were also delivered well before the due date well packed and undamaged . I spent quite a while looking for just the right ones , although you can buy cheaper it's just false economy . The blades stay sharper for longer on a good pair of scissors . I read a lot of reviews for different makes and types finally settling on these . Glad I did . Would recommend these to anyone looking for good scissors for cutting material and cloth . Thanks

First I heard of these scissors was in my school textiles classes - they were like the 'special' scissors. The teacher was really protective over them and would rave about how good they were. And she had good reason to do so too! These replaced my previous scissors, which I thought were good quality when first purchased, but went really blunt! Used these fiskars a few times, and they haven't let me down. I now feel confident when cutting fabric.. as before I thought it was normal to have to cut through the fabric a few times.. but now I realise this need not be the case. The Fiskars offer a sharp clean cut every time! Loving the orange statement handle too..
Overall, my hobby of tailoring has become alot more hobbier with these scissors. I'm a teenager commending scissors, hmmm, what does that say about me though?

Warning. Do not buy this item from Choiceful.com - I did and they shipped me the classic nail/embroidery scissors instead and have insisted that I have the right item, despite me sending them photographic proof. I have returned the item but they haven't refunded me and have ignored my e-mails, so I have had to give them to the end of the week before I try to get my money back from Amazon. In short, Fiskars scissors are great - but buy them somewhere else.
