This is a wonderful book at gives you so many ideas. I myself am creating a new home - rather than changing one - and found that Linda has so many wonderful idea as to creating that 'perfect' cozy home. Taking into consideration the color and size of your home, the focus points, the fabrics, lightning and the finishing touches can only be described at inspiring.

This book does exactly what it says on the cover detailing all the little fiddly bits that complete all your hard work. A must read for all DIY enthusiast to complete that project perfectly!!

A friend bought me this when I moved into my first flat and after reading it I couldn't wait to get started! Particularly good are the 5-minute fix-its, things you can do in an afternoon to improve the look of the room. While some of the ideas might not be to every-one's taste, things like a fruit bowl light (!!) are easily adaptable, and the instructions are really easy to follow. I recommend it for people wanting to change a room on a budget- the shell plaque is fabulous in my bathroom!!
