It's good to see this re-issued! I have a copy of the original 1973 print of this book (actually a BCA-issued reprint a few months after the original printing).
Group Captain Douglas Bader tells the story of the Spitfire, the Hurricane and their uses in both the Battle of Britain and beyond.
It contains black-and-white and colour photographs (some of which I have not seen elsewhere, and were certainly rare when the book was first published).
It has lots of memories from pilots (not just Bader, but also AVM Johnnie Johnson, Wing Commander 'Laddie' Lucas and Group Captain Sir Max Aitken, plus others)
