Excellent book,

Thoroughly recommend this book.....it really does have a wealth of information in an easy to read format.Photos are relevant to the written items and all major countries are covered in depth. Finally the fact that it is FIFA approved gives re assurrance that it is factually correct as well BUY you won't be disappointed !

Not for me but for him,

My partner, who is sports mad, had been looking for such a book and when I saw this on Amazon I thought it would be a fantastic Christmas gift. How right I was. My partner has read it, re read it and now my daughter has got her nose in it! Well worth the read if you're a footie nut (though it's not for me).

Excellent colourful compendium of records,

This review is from: FIFA World Football Records 2010 (Hardcover)
Excellent colourful presentation endorsed by FIFA - organised individual country wise records and trivia are well presented - quite unique as i hav'n yet seen a comprehensive book like this one - one grouse - surely Brazil deserves more than four pages of records and trivia and can't be bracketed with the same space as Spain or Belgium.as a point of interest India is also mentioned - though for a very dubious record of sorts - the only country to have qualified but refused to compete unless they were allowed to play barefeet in the '50 WC !!
