JACKET BY NICK ANDERSON
Farcreek is an exclusive creek bordered by millionaires' mansions, a yachtsman's paradise, awash with old money - and new - and gamblers prepared to cheat, lie, steal or sell their wives if it will enable them to hold on to their assets.
I have received many e-mails from readers asking where they can buy the Farcreek trilogy that I wrote as Caro French. (And for information on the rules of the featured game “Strip Snakes and Ladders”) The books have been out of print for many years and as the rights have reverted to me I have decided to publish them as e-books. But be warned, the brief was “make them raunchy” and I did. Named after the Cullen brothers’ 3 yachts, Lady Luck, Lady, Lay and Lady Chance, I will be eternally grateful to the FARCREEK TRILOGY. The year I was given the contract to write them as Caro French, I wrote five books, one Catrin Collier, one Katherine John and the three Caro French. As a result I was able to resign my full time job and become a full time writer.
Perhaps the most imaginative paragraph concerning Caro French was the biography I constructed for her. About the author
Caro French has always loved and lived within sight of the sea. A member of two yachting clubs, she has taught sailing in America, and has since developed a taste for sailing the warmer waters of the Aegean. She now divides her time between English and Turkish waters, which she sails with her third husband.
Believe it or not – I did once teach sailing in America. As for the rest . . . pure fiction.

Lust, passion, deceit, greed....all three books in the Farcreek Trilogy are thoroughly entertaining reads.
There is extra sauciness, sexiness and raunchiness compared to Colliers other books (which explains why they were originally published under another name).
But, like all Colliers work, the Farcreek books are very well written, with strong characters, enticing backdrops, and totally enthralling, page-turning stories.
Whisk yourself away to Farcreek today for a scintillating escapade in this yachtsman's paradise...you will undoubtedly enjoy the ride...

A good holiday read 29 April 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Having looked for the Farcreek Trilogy for a long time I pounced on these when I saw them on Kindle. I read all three in quick succession and enjoyed them. They are very different from her other works, less indepth, more like a quick 'holiday read'. Being an avid fan of Catrin's other writing I was interested to see such a different style of writing. I have read and re-read her other works and just finished The Long Road to Bahdad (very much in the style of her other work and a very good read and certainly one I would read again), however I am not sure I will be rushing back to read the Farcreek Trilogy again. My biggest criticism of this trilogy is the bad editing, there are numerous mistakes in the text, including characters names being used wrongly.

Having really enjoyed all Catrin Colliers Welsh books.I then read The long Road to Baghdad which I thought was literary genius.I then started this book which I could not believe had been written by the same person.Total trivia. So many characters and so much drival.I tried my best to persevere but gave up very disappointed.
I certainly won't be reading the other 2 books in the trilogy.
