I loved all the previous F-word series, so why not this one? Well, there are some obvious reasons which may not matter much to you, but I found the following quite annoying: a)Jean-Baptiste has been replaced by someone else (who is meant to look like him, but doesn't) - and I found this cool under fire French maitre d' really brilliant. b) it gets on my nerves that Gordon always calls Janet Street-Porter "Janet Street-Pensioner" - is this funny? c) the whole thing is incredibly rushed, hardly has he gone through the menu plan, the families are doing their best (or worst), ratings - bang bang, over. So all in all, this series feels a bit perfunctory, as if nobody really wanted to do it anymore but they were still under contract, so had to. I also found the production quality is not as good as previously, and the camera work is a little shoddier... or should that be "cheaper"?

Hard to fault if you're a Ramsay fan. Love any of his shows and this one's no different. Probably my least favourite out of Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares but I still class it as a must see. You see a nicer side of Ramsay in the F Word series compared to the other shows...

I persoanlly like the Style of this programme, missed most on tv , so its good to have the dvd of the whole series, but I have to limit myself to one episode per night !!!
I like the way this programme has developed,its not just cookery , but includes so many other topiCs such as food production,farming and lifestyle.......and there is still plenty humour.
I have great respect for Gordon Ramsay, being a self-made man ...and I genuinely believe he enjoys making these programmes and that shows in the presentation of each episode ....
I'm waiting for a 5th series.

I loved the previous shows and the boxsets and dvds, and this one is more of the same, its a fun and fresh show, even after 4 years and gordon still makes me smile :)
