5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST FOR NON-AMERICANS DEALING WITH US INVESTMENT BANKS, 25 Jun 1999
By A Customer
This extremely well written book is both serious and funny. Forigners dealing with US investment banks and bankers must get this glimpse into "explosive" derivatives sales and trading floors of some of the world leading financial institutions. One will learn what it means to get "your face ripped-off", things that happen to unsuspecting international and even American investors!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Liar's Poker for the 90's, 18 Feb 1999
By A Customer
I feel that this book was highly under-rated by the world. The belief that Liar's Poker is still required reading for wannabe bankers is still around, even though much of what happened in that novel has ceased to occur. But perhaps I can contradict myself and say that what both novels contain is the essence of being a trader, they both follow along the same lines, and both reach the same conclusions. As famous as Liar's Poker is, I feel that this novel should also be required reading, and in 5 years time I look forward to the next book that every Harvard MBA student should have a copy of.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is it. All you ever need to know on economics..., 26 Mar 1999
By A Customer
I've worked as a Network Administrator for at least four major investment banks. I've never understood derivatives until now. The book is much more than a simple wall street expose. It's a primer on World Economics in 1999. Read this in combination with something like MAI2 by Tony Clarke and you know exactly where World Economics is heading in the next Millenium.

5.0 out of 5 stars La leche
This book is great, it shows how greedy some people can be. It is a mixture of a novel and a finance class. We could say it is the Liar's Pokers of the 90s.
