We're big fans for these guides having used various others over the years.

Beautifully simple to use with more than enough information on everything from big cities to small villages, there are many nice touches such as colour cutaways of significant places, walking routes around towns with notes on key points of interest and - my personal favourite - a basic translation guide for cafes and restaurants.

Almost indispensable while you're way, they become a handy reminder of your trip when you get home

Like all the 'Eyewitness' guides, this one is a star! It was a huge help and even though I know Switzerland quite well, I found it a tremendous help. Well written and easy to use. Very highly recommended.
