I always knew the Scorps were good but they just get better with age. Eye to Eye is as good an album as they have made I should know as I have about 20 from early stuff to present. Every song on this is first class and Klaus"s voice is as strong as ever.This is certainly one to buy as it grows on you all the time.Best songs 10 Light Years Away and Skywriter.Scorps fans buy it you wont be dissapointed.

The quality of the album surpassed me, and it is (at the moment) probably my favourite album of all time. From the poke at the Clinton-Monica affair with "To Be No.1", to the ballad "Moment In A Million Years", this album rocks, and was strangely muted in its publicity by the music stores (not naming names) in Leicester, and probably the rest of the UK.

Scorpions EYE TO EYE - DRUM LOOPS AND SAMPLES??? YES YOU READ IT RIGHT, BUT GUESS WHAT? IT WORKS!!!! KLAUS, RUDOLPH AND MATTHIAS ARE JOINED BY JAMES KOTTAK ON DRUMS AND RALPH RIEKERMAN ON BASS WITH AN ALBUM WITH A DIFFERENT FLAVOUR THAN THE PREVIOUS EFFORTS OF PURE INSTINCT AND FACE THE HEAT.JUST LISTEN TO THE TRACK "TO BE NO. 1" WHICH IS A FUN POKING EXERCISE TOWARDS THE US PRESIDENT OF THE TIME BILL CLINTON. OR THE OPENING TRACK - "MYSTERIOUS" - THE USUAL BALLDS ARE ALSO ON THE ALBUM, BUT DONT BE PUT OFF BY THE CHANGE IN DIRECTION - THIS ONES A GROWER - BUY IT NOW - YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

BRAVE, STUPENDOUS ALBUM

This was more experimental than recent scorps releases. It is a bit more industrial metal in some places. But it's still a good release from the boys. Read more

Pleasant surprise
For some reason I missed this album when it came out, possibly put off by Scorpions hit and miss output around this time, long gone were the glory days of Love At First Sting. Read more
