The most powerful, lucid text ever published about the ego.

This text is a great guide book to anyone trying to progress all the way to Enlightenment. Helpiong us to differentiate fact from fiction. A very frank work filled with vast amounts of eye opening content.

It provides relief and aid to anyone seeking the peace of God. This book has helped me a great deal. David Hawkins' books are the most practical spiritual texts I have ever come across. I love all his books and can't recommend them enough.

"Not for the spiritually timid" is the apt forewarning at the beginning of this second of David Hawkins's trilogy. I would recommend it for those who are already engaged in significant spiritual work, and not necessarily as an easy follow-on from 'Power vs Force'. Definitely start with 'Power vs Force', and absorb all you can. Despite over ten years of yoga and tarot study, having had success with meditational/visualisational healings, having had an out-of-body experience and having experienced a glass-shattering rush of energy as a child, 'The Eye of the I' has significantly shifted my paradigm of reality and consciousness. It is difficult to describe to anyone who is not on the same wavelength. My intuitive feeling is not to casually recommend it even to friends who have benefited from Power vs Force, as it is more intense and its effects are drammatic, life and lifestyle changing. I will sitting with this one for a while before moving on to "I". Be sure the time is right, and if you feel it is, be blissed!

This is one of the most inspiring and ego shattering book that I have ever come across. This will resonate with the core of your being, although Dr. Hawkins has written several other books, the core of all his teachings, an assimilation of the truth can be found in this one. The book has an energetic connection the information contained reveals itself when one is ready.

The written words are a culmination of the teachings of enlightened seers, sages and saints that were ever born and Dr. Hawkins understanding and his own experiences. It will have a profound effect on those, who read a line and contemplate for some time, could be days, years or life times!

As he puts it enlightenment occurs to one in several hundred of millions of people, the information that is made available particulary for the western mind is very informative and clears the sheath of the "i".

My understanding continually gets refined as I read and contemplate each line, for others this could be any other book, as I believe each is given a teaching which continues forever, for me this book is all that is required at this point of time.
