Solid thriller! 7 July 2009
Format:DVD
Kiefer Sutherland has never been more evil.He plays a paedophile who rapes and murders a womans teenage daughter. When the police neglect to take action the mother of the deceased takes the law into her own hands.

The action is intense and the movie in general is chilling to the bone!

Chilling 12 Jan 2004
Format:DVD
when a mother of two hears the brutal murder of her eldest daughter down the phone she thinks her world has fallen apart. when the killer of her daughter is realeased due to a 'technical hitch' the determination for justice and revenge shows through as this ordinary mother turns away from the law and towards more effective methods. this film is believable which is rare with revenge plots and extreamily well acted. keifer suderland manages to disgust me and sally field plays a women losing it and dangerously close to the edge very well.

this movie guides the viewer through the reality of a grief striken family and demonstrates the strength of maternal instinct but also the psychological effect trauma has. this film has the power to anger any viewer and holds your attention throughout. well worth a watch.

Eye for an Eye 12 Nov 2009
Format:DVD
This is a great thriller in the style of Fatal Attraction. I was slightly put off when I realised Sally Fields was the lead role as I couldnt really picture he in a serious role after seeing her in Mrs Doubtfire and Forrest Dump but she actually gave a good beliveable performance. Kiefer Sutherland steals the show as the cruel Robert Doob who rapes and murders Field's daughter while she is talking to her on the phone which sets her off on a one woman mission to bring him to justice whether its the legal or not.

Theres none stop thrills and the film storyline starts only 5-10mins into the film.

A must see with a good supporting cast including Ed Harris and Keith David.
