2.0 out of 5 stars Flawed 22 Dec 2012

Difficult installation & over complicated, too many options to start with, some not compatible with initial setup (iPad OR computer upload). Nice look to software, but unable to install initially, requiring re-boot before 'create account' was possible. Software is still slow & flaky, crashed my 2 year old iMac twice in one afternoon & the software quit with a fatal fault three times (Felt like Beta software, but it's been around for awhile). Speed of upload was OK, with images appearing after a few moments. Mobileme is no available & iCloud is not listed (old packaging & software not updated). Also, unable to deal with Nikon NEF (RAW) images correctly (thumbnails only displayed on iPad & low res on iMac?) JPEGs OK. To cap everything, it then flattened my camera battery in less than 2 hours of testing. Disappointed to say the least. Good price for the 8Mb Pro X2 at half its usual price, made me buy it, but the concept just didn't work for me. I'll wait for MKII or another manufacturer.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works with Canon 40D 31 Jan 2013

I use it with the Komputerbay SD / SDHC / MMC Card to Compact Flash Type II High Speed Adapter and it works very well. Up to now I've had no missed downloads. However, I've only used it at close range, e.g. < 10 feet which is all I need it for. After all the negative reports of its use with the 40D I'm happy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money 29 Jan 2013

Poorly documented and not really worth your time sorting out what they mean you to do. When it is up and working it is ineffably slow to transfer pictures so it is really only an expensive 8Gb card.

4.0 out of 5 stars Replacement 29 July 2013

Bought this to replace my "lost" adapter. As always as soon as I received it I found my old one but I like these but it does seem to take a long time to upload.
