I have several books on motivation, business, success and self- improvement and I must admit that this book ranks amongst the best. A summary is great. I do not need real life stories etc. I prefer facts well laid out and easy to access as in this book. This book is concise, clear and easy to read and understand.

As an occasional speaker, I find the section on this topic very helpful and I have learnt some important things that I must change. This book is not just for business but for the improvement of productivity and efficiency in every aspect of your life.
I for one will recommend it as a must read. There is something for everyone in this book.

Well written and informative summary 22 Dec. 2012
By Andrew Lanciani - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I've purchased many business books, but have had a hard time finishing any of them either because they are too long or I just lose interest. That's why I enjoyed this book summary of Pozen's Extreme Productivity book. It was short enough to keep my attention and did a great job of highlighting the most important themes of the full book. I especially enjoyed the recaps at the end of each chapter that really hammered home the key points. If you struggle with productivity, then this will be a great solution for you.

this book is very concise and to the point without all of the excessive and repetitive wording you normally get with reading books individually.

Excellent Content 26 Dec. 2012
By Arlene - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Great book. Very informative and one can easily understand the guidelines for increasing productivity. This will help me both in my professional and personal life. What I like most is the part that deals in organizing our priorities as well as streamlining one's daily routine. His advice is simple, "boost your results and reduce your hours".

The author is a staunch advocate of what he calls "OHIO", only handle it once. This book is worth reading. It is layered with sage advice on how to become ultra competitive through collaboration. I will recommend this book to family and friends.

Saves you the trouble of extracting the information yourself 10 July 2013
By D. Meyer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I read self-improvement books with a pen or highlighter, to mark the "nuggets of wisdom". The second time that I pick up the book, I read only what I've marked, and ignore the rest. This summary saved me the trouble of having to do that. I liked having the salient points all condensed into one slim volume. This is a fast read.

As with most small publishers, CornerTrade (which created Shortcut Summaries) does not seem to bother shelling out for proofreaders or even for someone to edit the layout. What a shame. Consequently, the product looks less-than-professional. At least the content is good (though not edited for grammar or punctuation). But then, the content is really Robert Pozen's, isn't it?

Disappointing for Me 5 Aug. 2013
By Common Sense - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This summary, based on the full book version, might be useful for some readers, but not so for me. Included in the text are many "lifestyle" oriented matters, i.e. good sleep habits, spending time with family, etc. Not to say these things are not important, but I am always on the lookout for organization of the workday books that reveal how executives make the most out of their time. This book does not do that in my view.
