Just as the new series of Extreme Fishing starts on Channel Five my DVD of the second series arrives. Surely this is fishing heaven (my wife would argue that this is Robson Green heaven but perhaps that just goes to show that this series has something for everyone)!
In this series Robson is island hopping in Canada; ice fishing in Alaska; fishing with the Maori in New Zealand; facing crocodiles and octopuses in Australia; fishing for the elusive Striped Bass in North America; experiencing jellyfish in the Philippines and he even goes in search of the Mekong Giant Catfish in Thailand. All with his unbridled boyish enthusiasm. It isn't just about catching the strongest and biggest fish in the most glamorous locations: In one of the most exciting, and certainly the most dangerous bits of the series Robson heads out with the trawlermen in immense seas off the coast of Alaska fishing for crabs. All in all a great seres.

Loved the TV series but unfortunately missed a couple of episodes. Now I have both series and can watch at my leisure. Just love Robson, and being an Australian living in Australia, I really enjoyed his experiences in Australia.

the show is great but the picture quality of the DVD set is not that good, also are they going to release the HD version?
