This is the first time im writing a review so i hope it helps u.
Cyber Slam 99 is 1 of the non pay per view shows that are only available on dvd/vhs.Here are the matches and info on them:
1.Jerry Lynn V Tajiri
This is a great opening match. Fast paced with some great moves by both men. Jerry Lynn is a great wrestler who never should have been fired by WWE. 8/10
2.Rod Price V Super Nova.
Rubbish is a word rarely used with ECW but this match was.3/10
3.Super Crazy V El Masco
Fantastic high flying match by two great wrestlers.Aerial moves that will make your jaw drop.I wish Super Crazy would sigh for the WWE. Bit of a crap ending and crazy leaves p****d off.9/10
4.Papi Chulo(Essa Rios) V Taka Michinoku
Another great match that shows the WWE can see talent or use wrestlers with talent properly.Fast paced, highflying, great moves this match has them all.9/10
5.Rob Van Dam V Too Cold Scorpio
I was looking forward to this match and i wasnt disappointed. RVD could have a good match with a tree and make it goog but TCS is a great wrestler to.Some great aerial offence as usual with these 2 wrestlers. 8/10
6.Taz V Chris Candido
Taz is a wrestler, not a commentator. He can beat anyone and his is a good example of all the moves Taz was banned from using while in the WWE. Brutal ending which involves a table and a injured neck. 7/10
7.Shane Douglas V Justin Credible.
Another good match which i thought would be poor but wasnt.Lots of blood and canes. 7/10
8.New Jack,Balls Mahoney,Axl Rotten V Dudley Boys@Mustafa
WOW.This cage match is EXTREME.Lots of weapons, tons of blood and a extreme dive from New Jack.Brilliant way to end a great dvd.9/10
Hope this helps you buy this dvd.If it doesnt buy it to prove me wrong. ECW ECW ECW ECW

Jerry Lynn vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri - This show took place shortly after the Living Dangerously pay-per-view where Jerry Lynn had his classic with RVD, so the ECW fans finally realise how good he is and give him a great reaction. Good match, with some nice technical and aerial wrestling. (***)

Super Nova vs. Rod Price - Rod Price looks like your stereotypical wrestling heel, although i admit his wrestling is slightly better than you might expect. There is a cut made from this match for no apparent reason. Not awful. (1/2*)

Super Crazy vs. El Merco De La Merced - This match starts off with the two wrestlers showing off their lucha libre skills, much to the delight of the ECW Arena crowd. As the match continues, they seem to run out of ideas and there are a few awkward moments. But still a decent match. (**1/2)

Taka Michinoku vs. Papi Chulo - This was going to be difficult as the fans had already seen a couple of high-flying matches on the show and they had a tough act to follow. They never really managed it. Good in places but a letdown given the talent involved. (**)

Rob Van Dam vs. Too Cold Scorpio - Flash Funk makes another one of his random returns to ECW to face RVD in a match that marks one year of RVD being ECW Television Champion. This was a good match with some nice high-flying and innovative spots. The only problem is that TCS seems to spend a good portion of the match stalling, something he does a lot in longer matches. Good match though, better than the one they had at Living Dangerously the year before. (***)

ECW Title Match: Taz vs. Chris Candido - This was an FTW rules match which means falls count anywhere in the building.

Cyberslam was ECWs annual internet online show. I always thought it was one of their PPVs. The main event was so hardcore it would make a grown man weep! Justin Credible Vs. Shane Douglas was also too extreme. I honestly think Tazz is the most cold hearted man to walk the Earth!
Here are my reviews:
Jerry Lynn Vs. Tajiri 7.5/10
A good start to the night.
Nova Vs. Rod Price 4/10
By far the poorest match of the night. Be grateful it was short.
Super Crazy Vs.El Mosco 8/10
Great high flying lucadore action!
Taka Michinoku Vs. Papi Chulo 6/10
Not the match I hoped it would be. But it had a good ending.
Rob Van Dam Vs. Too Cold Scorpio 9/10
RVD was celebrating 1 year as the TV champ. In his typical fashion it starts slow and ends up being a classic!
ECW World Championship:
Tazz Vs. Chris Candido 9/10
This was an FTW rules match (falls count anywere). Excellent match with a uncalled for ending. Tazz is sick!
Shane Douglas Vs. Justin Credible 10/10
Fantastic match from the Franchise and the new harcore icon. I really wouldn't want to be hit with one of those Singapore caines! OUCH!!
Wargames steel cage match:
The Dudleyz and Mustafa Vs.New Jack/Balls Mahoney/Axl Rotten 10/10
This match beyond anything harcore I've ever seen! Tables, trash cans, crutches, scissors, barb wire, tacks! Fun for the whole family! The ending is awesome! Can U say of the top of the cage through a table!?
It's such a shame you won't see anthing like this again.
