Book Description

18 Feb 2010
In 1987 Jim Moroney had an extraterrestrial encounter at a small lorry park just outside Manitoba, Canada. It changed his life forever. He spent the next twenty years studying the phenomenon of extraterrestrials. His book will provide answers to all your questions about visitors from other planets, including: · Why are they here? · When were the first recorded sightings of aliens? · Where do most sightings occur? · What kind of scientific evidence is there for the presence of aliens? · How are governments responding? - How will an alien abduction affect your personal relationships? This book is a great deal of fun and is the only one that addresses these issues in an accessible and straightforward way. Moroney is not a wild-eyed conspiracy theorist. His book is matter of fact, sane and very interesting. This will be a sure hit with the millions who genuinely believe that we are not alone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Trained observer personal abduction testimony 12 April 2010
By Steve in Tustin - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is the personal abduction testimony of an extremely well trained observer. Because of his career training, the author is able to make a large number of astute observations, inferences and deductions on the nature, motives and interaction objectives of his abductors. He has spent 20 years arriving at his conclusions, enough time to remove the personal emotion and gut reactions that typically distort a lot of abduction testimonies. He was able to systematically overcome his fear, revulsion and physical pain to enable him to objectify his conclusions. The book gives a good amount of insight from a whole variety of angles not usually considered, particularly as to the extensive effort the ETs went through both physically and psychologically to make the contacted humans as at home and as little alienated as possible.

I couldn't give the book a 5th star because the entire book was basically from a single viewpoint. The author had conducted extensive research, but his conclusions were still all filtered through his own experience. Whenever he arrived at a question he couldn't answer, he merely gave his personal speculation and left it at that. Also, the final three chapters are his suggested action steps for readers to take, based on his career training. They sound good, doctrinally, but basically are not workable in real life application. Sort of like an operations manual that is written to be complete, but everyone ignores in practice. Still, overall I rate the book as a keeper, a unique perspective not found elsewhere in the extensive amount of material I have evaluated.

1.0 out of 5 stars no answers here 14 April 2010
By David Bakara - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I was looking for just a few good answers, but found none here. The author first summarizes many, many well known cases as to convince us of the reality of abduction( I know it's real, that's why I bought the book). It's seemed like he was stalling the inevitable, no answers..then has the gumption to say that he doesn't belive the visitors are really conducting secret reproductive programs HUH? The book really winds down after that with messages that love will solve everything and what he THINKS we should do. I'm not even going to donate this clunker to my local library, I'm throwing it out(just like the money I sent Amazon for this book).
