What makes a comfortable pillow is a very personal thing.
Purely and simply, I found this pillow too low. When lying on my side, it didn't even reach my neck, let alone support it. I tried putting another pillow underneath it, but this just seemed to make it hard and lumpy. My sister on the other hand found it really comfy and it fitted her just perfectly.
Other people also seem to have had great success with it, but unfortunately it wasn't for me.

We have a special foam mattress recommended for back problems. Getting a suitable pillow to accompany it has not been easy. There are all sorts of strange shaped pillows designed by experts which seem far less comfortable than a standard pillow. This design is proving the best so far. There's a moulded depression for the head and a cut out section at the bottom to accommodate the shoulder and arm when sleeping on your side. I'd have preferred it with a "Climarelle" cover as heat build up is a big problem with foam mattresses, but the price is high enough already.
