was a bit weary after reading a few reviews of this product, but bought it anyway as needed a cheap CD RW.
This is brilliant for what it is, I have a windows Vista laptop and a Windows 7 computer and this worked really well, it's fast and slim. For the price it's actually much better than the more expensive makes too!
If you're looking for a good DVD drive, then this is the one for you!

This is a handy little gadget which plugs into the Netbook and allows the viewing of CD's and DVD's -- also can be used as a DVD RW. It's slim and portable, very easy to use and so far, no glitches or anything to complain about.

I connected this product to my desktop, but it only read the
discs and would not transer files properly. After trying different
things i used and earlier restore point on vista, extracted the
drivers to my desktop and since then it has been running well from
vista to windows 7 upgrade home edition. maybe next time i will
pay more for a branded product with driver support. For what it is,
it is running well at the moment.

Does what it says on the tin
This product works correctly for what I wanted - to transfer audio CDs to iTunes on my laptop, thence to my iPod Shuffle. Nothing else to say really.
