My five and a half year old has had his lightsabers for a month now. He plays with them literally every day (which means I do to). They get a lot of bashing but are still in great condition.

This is a basic toy that my boys got for Christmas and have played quite a lot with. They still come out every now and again and the kids have been quite rough with them so I am impressed that they are both still working. They don't do much other than extend and have a light in them that changes colour but I am pleased that I went for these as the cheap option instead of paying more for ones that had more features.

The toy that broke within 5 minutes
My son is so upset. He spent some birthday money on this Star Wars STYLE lightsaber. It came apart within 5 minutes. It is not durable enough to be a children's toy. Read more

Eats batteries!
Nice Light saber. Looks very cheap - but guess you get what you pay for. My two ran out of batteries straight away and the replacement batteries cost as much as the saber. Read more
