These are great little (very little) speakers for travelling around with or sitting on a bedroom shelf. My 5 year old loves to walk around the house with them and I borrow them when she's not around. The sound is remarkable from something at this price and size. You can plug them into a USB or we put rechargeable batteries in. It takes 3 AAA. We paid �9.99 in Dec 2008 on Amazon. Bargain...

I purchased this speaker when I purchased the new ipod shuffle.

Very disapointed this did not work with the particular version.

This is actually a neat bit of kit BUT don't be fooled by Amazon's recommendations if you are buying a new I-Pod Shuffle 2GB - it doesn't fit properly and the accessories only fit the old model. Don't buy it with a new (square) i-pod shuffle or else you will be very disappointed.
