I purchased this on the off chance it would fit a 4G iPod Touch with a 4GEAR hard back case - spot on! I've tried a 2G iPod touch and it fits in there a little more snug but the difference is minimal. This is an excellent quality black leather case that fits a 4G iPod Touch + back case/2G iPod touch and the price is a steal. It is well made and classy - it is almost as good as an iPod :)
This case is very classy and durable. I purchased initially for my iPhone 3GS as I cracked the screen and wanted to preserve it a little more! I bought this accidentally (not seeing that it was for the 2G!) but found that the 3G fit quite snugly which was exactly what I wanted. The top stuck out a little but in all a very stylish case and probably one of the best that I have seen.
