About the Author

STEVEN CROFT has written extensively on ministry, evangelism and discipleship and was one of the authors of Emmaus: the way of faith. Formerly Archbishops' Missioner and Fresh Expressions Team Leader, he is now Bishop of Sheffield. In this role he aims to engage with those on the edge of or outside the churches

little disappointing, thought I might be able to use it lead some reflections but felt unable to do so. justnot really for me which is sad as I have other books by the same author which are really good.

We are doing this study over Lent in a small group and there is lots of material in each session. We paricularly like the personalising of the bible passages, makes it "real" and helps place yourself in the action, and maybe look at it a different way.
