canals 8 Nov 2010
Format:Paperback
This book is now only valuable as a historical document as it was published in 1997 well before the regeneration of the canals as a millenium project.
Nevertheless it is well written and informative as to what existed.
There are 16 chapters on various sections of the 2 canals plus sections on a)practical information b)a good bibliography and c)the canal country code. The pictures and maps are very good.
Lets hope an updated version keeping the same format is published.
