A stunningly beautiful book, with stacks of inspiration from the superb photographs and lots of quirky ways to transform the flat textile surface into a 3-D one, or into a collection/series of the same or similar shapes. From the simple to the more complex this has got to motivate anyone with a fabric stash that ever had a curious moment about lifting the 2-D. HOWEVER, IT IS PAGE FOR PAGE EXACTLY THE SAME AS 'Exploring Dimensional Quilt Art, stitch, fold, embellish' Publisher: Interweave. Having bought both I feel somewhat cheated.

This is a fabulous book, full of inspirational 3D shapes that can be adapted to many different surface design techniques. The images are of great quality, really demonstrating what can be done with the techniques within.

The book takes you through a range of forms, sharing how to construct them. Wile there are no projects as you might see in a traditional craft book, the forms within inspire you to develop your own ideas on how they can be created.

A great book for someone wanting to take their textile art further.
