My 9-year-old son loves Simon Chapman's books, and it's not hard to see why. They are crammed with exciting information about the author's expeditions to the world's remotest places, (he has really been there so he knows what he's talking about) and it's all presented in a highly readable journal-style format, with lots of drawings and fun quizzes.
This 'Outback' book is about Australia and it's full of interesting info about geography and survival. You can find out how to play the didgeridoo, how to use Aboriginal weapons, how to deal with crocs and how to avoid all those venomous snakes....!
It is all beautifully presented in a style that kids find very appealing. Buy with confidence.
