More About the Author

My name is Kate Daubney and I am lucky enough to be a children's book illustrator and author. I work and live by the sea in sunny North Devon which is a lovely spot on the coast in the south West of England. My sidekick is a scruffy, sandy terrier called Taz, who loves nothing more than snoring away under my desk after a good run on the beach chasing seagulls. My illustrations are always fun and quirky and are inspired by the colourful characters that I meet on my daily walks with Taz the dog. I really hope you like looking at my books as much as I love illustrating them. I'm always working on something new and I'll be sure to keep adding to my authors page, so do come back to have a browse any time!
