Review
One of the most famous, accessible, and beloved pieces of seasonal classical music, Antonio Vivaldi's Baroque masterpiece 'The Four Seasons' is given a thoughtful performance here by David Juritz and the London Mozart Players. Also presented are Vivaldi's 'Concertos for the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.' This recording of Vivaldi Four Seasons was made utilizing 24bit 96 kHz technology. The sound stage is spread over the front three channels, whilst the rear channels contain the natural ambience of the Church of St Silas the Martur, Chalk Farm, to give the listener a realistic representation of the acoustic in witch performance took place. Concertos for the Assumption of the Virgin Mary written for two independent orchestras, these were recorded with the soloist, David Juritz, standing in the middle of the two groups. This seemed an ideal opportunity to position the orchestras accordingly in surround sound, so for both concertos, orchestra one is positioned in the front channels and orchestra two in the rear. The 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track can NOT be handled by all BlueRay players. Check the specification before buy! I had to return my first player as it did not support this despite a claim to do so. Note that it is a 7.1 track but the recording was 5.1, the 6-7'th track were added digitally. Also note that the 8'th chapter point is set prematurely at 3:30 into the first part of "Autumn", 9 is 8, 10 is 9 and "Winter" starts with 11. The 3'rd part of "Winter" has no chapter point. The record plays beautifully on my present player, Philips BDP 5000.

i`ve bought 3 of these and they are not compatible with my Samsung BD3600. No sound and the player ejects the disk and say`s " not compatible"
Though , it will play on my PS3m but without the original soundtrack.
Anyone got any idea?
Therefor, be aware, the disks may not play on all players.

My Blu-ray DVDs play fine with full surround sound, but this audio only version does play but without sound, and if there is sound from my visual discs I cannot understand why this disc doesn't function.
Apart from that, I must add it appears to be cheaply produced, especially when the ony text is DVD-R.
I get the impression this is a copy produced in some backroom or garage.
No way will I purchase more in this series.

Do not buy
Please don't buy it. My disc was an obvious BDR-E recordable and didn't play either in a Sony player or in my laptop. Even the artwoek on the cover looks photocopied. Read more

Disappointment
The audio quality is very good, but the disc really seems a rewriteble media and there's no menu: the authoring is so poor that it affects the global appreciation of the disc. Read more
