I read this book for the first time about 12 years ago and loved it. I borrowed it from the Warwickshire County Library and paid something like 65p. for the privilege. Like your reviewer from Berkshire, I can't understand why it should cost so much now. Not a quick fix self-help manual, but a wonderful thing, truthful, honest, beautifully written - a book I would love to own - but not at that price. Any ideas anyone?

This book, 30 years ago helped start me on a path of exploring my dreams that has given me enormous treasures. Martin summarises years of work that he did with many people who transformed their lives working with him on their dreams. The book The Way Within by Wyatt Rawson describes the results of this work with such groups.
Martin does not write for a popular fix-it market, but for the true explorer of their inner depths - for the full human being who wants to grow and discover their own complexity and paradoxes. Although now out of print, this is still a wonderful book to take into oneself.

why on earth does this book cost £65. My copy is paperback edition of Routledge 1987. It is a brilliant study of the work of Jung, Eliot and Toynbee - more than academic, it is an analysis of the soul. I re-read it. It should be available to anyone but who is going to pay such a price. At least, borrow it from your library. It opens the secrets of parables. It is beautifully written because it is thought through from the heart.
