If I could sum this up in one word is exciting! Better than Westward. Professor Franklin was truly a brave man to give his life, so Clay Holt and the others could escape. I was happy that Jefferson Holt and Melissa were reunited. I can't wait to read Outpost. My only problem with this book, is that Shining Moon got raped. The author didn't have to put a rape scene in there in my opinion, but I understand that he wanted some reality in the story. I hope Jefferson's Father-in-law gets whats coming to him in Outpost. The suspense is killing me.

I have read all of the Dana Fuller Ross "Going West" books. They were like reviewing the history of the United States, although some may have been fiction. They are well worth reading. The Trilogy's were hard to find, but I just kept searching and did get most of the missing books from Amazon.com
