Admittedly, this USB hub only cost 2.99 with shipping, so maybe I should have known better. It worked for about five minutes, then stopped. I tried it again a week or so later, same result. I would suggest spending a bit more and getting something that works.

After getting a new PC and realising it didn't have as many USB ports as I needed I bought this. It's a brilliant little gadget! Plus it means I don't have to get behind the machine to plug things in and unplug things I don't need, it now just sits on my desk and is easily accessible

I dont understand why others are having issue with this product, It came carefully wrapped and once i had plugged in to my machine (windows xp pro 32bit) i let windows do the driver install and then i blutac'd it to the wall, Ive had no problems since, it has worked with my printer which i have connected to it at all times as well as a usb laser mouse and whatever usb keys that i put in there.
The only thing i can think of that this is not working after a few days of use for others is that they are dropping/banging it on the floor or generally being quite rough, the build quality is basic plastic so i can see how components could be damaged easily of the item is thrown around.
