4.0 out of 5 stars i wish there was a 4.5, 12 Mar 2004

my sister gave me this book when we swapped rooms, well she left it on the shelf, it didnt take long for me to read it but i really empathised with the characters, partly because i live where the book is set, Lincolshire and can relate entirely to long boring summers without wind or anything to do, but mostly because of the skill of the writer , the experiences of the girls and the relationship they have with their grandma

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a funny sequel which lives up to the original, 7 May 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Exiles at Home (Paperback)
This is the story of four sisters who are constantly getting themselves in trouble. This book is very well written, and deserves a lot of credit for its humour. It is not a serious book. For anyone who likes laughing, or for people looking for light reading, this is perfect.
