3.0 out of 5 stars A departure from the earlier albums 20 Jan 2011
Format:Audio CD
After Extraordinary Ways I had really high hopes for this album and had to wait a long 5 years for its arrival.

I have held off writing this review for a couple of months further as on the first few listens it was a disappointment, Extraordinary ways dragged you in with strong tracks from the very beginning; Exilarch starts with Like Ice and the first minute is a shimmering noise; this sets the stage for an hour of very relaxing music but moves away from the pop sounds and vocals of the earlier albums. I have come around; and tracks like Places That Don't exist helped greatly as the piano on it is excellent and I am a sucker for a good piano solo. Exilarch is much closer to Delerium than any of the previous Conjure One albums and for me that is a shame the pop like qualities of the earlier albums are what attracted me to them in the first place.

5.0 out of 5 stars I you need to relax 15 Nov 2011
Format:Audio CD
I don't want to go on about how this is great or well done, I don't want to compare it with other artists. I just want to say I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to any one who just wants to listen to some thing soothing while driving, chilling or walking in the great out doors. It works for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Modern Conjure One Album 18 Jan 2012
Format:Audio CD
This album is more a mix between Delerium and Conjure One. I recognize even a few Front Line Assembly influences.

The first songs are creating a sense of cold Northpole feeling which I think is brilliant. My favorite song at the moment is "Places that don't exist"
Give it a few chances before you definitely judge this album, and it will turn out a very good one. A lot of good songs with a modern mix approach. Glitch effects and clean sound.

I'm looking forward to new work from either Delerium or Conjure One.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exilarch by ‘conjure one’ Fantastic! 24 April 2014
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Another great album by conjure one. I always listen to the short mp3 samples before purchase and wasn’t totally convinced but ordered the CD and have never stopped playing the tracks. Agree with another review there are lots of textures and great vocals can’t imagine why I didn’t purchase at release in 2010, it’s now 2014 so come on conjure one lets have more great music.

4.0 out of 5 stars great atmosphere 16 Aug 2011
Format:MP3 Download
I`m big FLA fan, but I got this one for the great atmosphere of these tracks and also to check other stuff from Rhys Fulber. It`s little dark (+1) as well and it`s good for chill out. Sometimes it sounds like Dellerium or Jean Michelle Jarre or Recoil but that`s fine. My favourite tracks are "hits" Like Ice, I dream in color (could be called iDreamRGB?), then Zephyr, Demon Inside and Oligarch.
