Brilliant plot, will grab and hold your attention throughout,

As a Tom Clancy, Stephen Coonts, Larry Bond & Dale Brown fan; Richard Doyle had strong competition if he was to impress me. He DID ! It's a great novel, I have been recommending this title since I was half way through it.

BREATHTAKING,

I read this right through in a day. It is tense and exciting and really gripped me. The plot is highly original and the pace never lets up from the start. I particularly liked the character of the President's secretary and the way her conflict of loyalties was presented. Also the difficulties faced by the Secret Service in trying to prove who was the real president were very realistic. The author has done a terrific job on his research, I felt like I was living in the White House by the end. In fact the place almost takes on a character of its own in the book. I bet there are hundreds of us with doubles out there in the world just like the author suggests. Highly recommended.

This was a book I just could not put down. Amazed that the author lives in Devon and not USA!! His knowledge of all things presidential and ability to create a fast faced action packed story was excellent. I was left with some unanswered questions at the end of the novel but loved the twists and turns that kept me absorbed.
