Welcome to the iBoutique Premium Sunrise Alarm Clock. This new model in our range utilises the latest and brightest energy efficient LEDs on the market at this price point. The clock contains no less than 15 of them meaning it is brighter and more effective than many similar clocks. The clock begins to illuminate gently 20 minutes before your desired wake up time. Other models we have tested simply light up for example 60 minutes before you wish to wake up then get brighter at the alarm time. Ours is much more gradual. You have the option of just waking up with the light only but there is a back-up option of having an audible bleep as a safeguard. In testing, most of our testers wake up just with the light however. The light is designed to simulate the natural sunrise, just the way nature intended. This can have a dramatic effect on your mood during the day - particularly during the winter months. If you suffer from S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder), the clock can help with this also.
That is not all though, there is more. The clock also measures and constantly displays the room temperature. There is much research that has been done suggesting that room temperature can affect the quality of your sleep. Sleep experts say that the ideal room temperature is 68 to 75 degrees Farenheit/20 to 23 degrees Celsius. There are not many clocks on the market that offers this feature.
The clock has a lovely rounded design (to simulate the sun) with all controls easily accessible from the front instead of having to feel around the back. There is a snooze facility with attractive blue backlight.

I am very happy with my purchase which arrived promptly. The clock does indeed gradually light up and helps me wake up. There are a lot of models out there but one has to keep in mind that many models are much more expensive. I haven't tried the more expensive clocks but I am happy with what this delivers for the price.

This was a gift from my wife. Do I have more energy in the day? Is my life profoundly better because of this product? I do not know. But I can say that waking up with the wake-up light is qualitatively different and better than a regular "noise" alarm. Waking up is now less abrupt/jarring and more calm/gentle. If waking up is an unpleasant experience for you, getting one of these light might help.

I have bought two of these one for me and one for my daughter that I have put away for Christmas. I was looking for something that gently wakes you in a morning and this is just the thing. What attracted me was the price compared to many other similar clocks on Amazon. I also like the fact that it uses LED lights which I know last for ages so no having to replace bulbs like other clocks. It gives off enough light to wake you. You have the option of also having an audible alarm if required but so far I have just been using the light so as not to wake my partner who likes his sleep. It is simple to set both the clock and the alarm with the straightforward instructions. I read that the clock can help people who suffer from S.A.D. which I don't doubt. I don't suffer from this condition thankfully but I would recommend it to anybody who needs a helping hand in a morning or simply wants to have a way to be gently roused in a morning. Recommended!!!
