Fantastic, well written and easy to read and follow. Some of the activities are really rewarding and as a semi professional footballer i have taken some of the tasks into my game. I have seen great improvements in my performance and the book on the whole gives an interesting insight into the psychology behind success. The activities provided can also be used in other areas such as business. Thoroughly enjoyable and money well spent.

Having completed my NLP Sports Practioner course with Jimmy in 2011, I can easily say that of all of the many courses and programmes that I have attended; this would have the biggest and most significant impact.
On every level Jimmy is able to deliver on what he promotes, and still today is having a huge impact upon my personal and professional life for the better.
The book Excel at Sports is a must for anyone who is serious about progressing in terms of their performance and outcomes. Well structured, and easy to dip in and out of, using concise language, and real world experiences. Whether new to NLP, or simply for another perspective, this is an excellent read.

This book is very clear and easy to understand, and gives you a set of tools to improve your mind-set and performance in the sporting field that can be applied to many things such as business and self-improvement. A gem of a book which covers a wide range of techniques and strategies with script examples to help open your perceptual visual field, improve focus, goal setting and motivation. A highly recommended read for anyone interested in improving their performance by controlling emotional intelligence. There are loads of insperational quotes and ideas you can utalize to help you on your road to peak performance.
