This book gives a very clear, very basic overview of excel 2007 in a friendly writing style.
More than sufficient for your average user, and a great way to get familar with the terms as a step on the way to becoming more proficient without getting overfaced.

A great book for beginners. Before I read this I could hardly even open Excel. Now, after finishing the book I have the most knowledge of Excel in the company, and already those skills have made a big difference to our statistical reporting.
