Cheap, works, not great to look at but does what it says it does.
I bought it to go in my car so i could control the length of my cable from the stereo to my iphone but I'm picky and think it looks horrid. I still gave it a 5 because it works well and I knew what I was buying.

The look and feel of the connector is not the same as the original. However, it does the job well. Retractable cable is nice too.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Whenever I order something like this - that's not made by the actual manufacturer, I get worried that it won't work correctly or that it will be of flimsy construction. On the otherhand, certain manufacturers seems go for unreasonably high prices just because their name is on it and it has unusual connectors to their equipment. Well, this retractable connector to my ipod works well! The construction is not awesome, but it's well-enough made to last a while and the retractable length of wire is actually an upgrade from the original equipment. I ordered two, one for my wife, one for me, and we're both pleased with the purchase. And, the price was very competitive. This company seems to take an innovative approach to supplying replacement cables at a reasonable price.

absolutely rubbish
After very little use the end which goes into the ipod dropped to peices and also the retraction mechanism failed. Very, very cheap piece of rubbish - you get what you pay for.

Okay cheap and tidy connector
This does the job perfectly at the moment. It recoils well so the cable is going to be kept tidy and there is never any issue connecting to the pc. Hopefully it will last well.
