Purchased this as we only have one Scart socket on our TV so that we wouldn't be endlessly swapping scart leads to watch DVDs,VCR tapes and PVR. Unfortunately we suffered signal degradation (dim picture/low volume) if more than one Scart was plugged into the splitter.
Express-Pro's returns people helped me via email to determine that I had the wrong device.
Turns out this is for splitting the signal from one device and sending it to multiple devices. The opposite of what I bought it for. I returned this device and was reimbursed.
I then purchased the correct device from Express-Pro which does the job. Skytronic Scart switch box 3 SCART in, 1 SCART out plus 6 RCA phono sockets
Given 5 stars because I'd ordered the wrong product and don't want to drag the rating down.

I'll cut to the chase - whilst the main cable is indeed shielded, the connections are not screened as stated in the product description. The sockets are open-backed and sat on an unscreened PCB with bare tracks. The wiring inside the unit is unshielded. For the price it's perhaps to be expected, but not when the product description explicitly states otherwise. Full refund received without issue, but sorting it out was a nuisance that could have so easily been avoided.

Like everyone I needed extra scart conections, nearly bought one at twice the price until I read the awful reviews! However, on finding this product with 2 very positive reviews I decided to take a chance. Glad I did. Arrived in a few days, well packed and the cable isn't long and bulky to get in the way. But the greatest bonus is that the picture is even better with the extension than it was before, hence Ex for Excellent!
