These lights are VERY small, very plasticy except for the legs, that after a fuss to extend are the only bits not plastic so they dig into whatever you're putting them on.
Also, although they worked when plugged in, one of them received a slight knock (and I MEAN SLIGHT) and the bulb blew! I can see the little filament flailing about in there. So they don't take even the remotest amount of abuse.
I know they aren't expensive compared to other lighting rigs out there so part of me wants to not be so harsh, but seriously, a regular £5 desk lamp from Argos will do the job better than these.
Truly shocking workmanship - I would be embarrassed to own the company that made these. Whoever does own it is clearly removed from this product otherwise they would never have let it out the door.
This weekend I shall mostly be looking to see if I can get a replacement bulb in B&Q or somewhere else like that... :-(
