Very good value, lightweight and adaptable travel battery charger. My camcorder was supplied with only an AC cable unit so the battery had to be charged whilst fitted to the camera and I really needed a separate charger. This one does the trick and also comes with 2 travel adapter plugs and a car plug. Does take longer than 2 hours to fully charge but then so does the AC charger and other separate chargers I have had with previous camcorders. At this price it would be hard to beat and is not worth being without.

Having to charge a battery within the camcorder must save Panasonic a few pannies, but it's a pain for me. This little charger is easy to use and has plugs for different parts of the world, plus a car charger lead. The clear green light showing fully charged status is great (and it turns from red to amber when almost full, so if you are in a real hurry this may be useful to you). Very glad I got it.

IF YOU A LOOKING FOR FAST CHARGER FORGET THIS ONE.IT TAKES 10 HOURS TO CHARGE A PANASONIC VBK180 BATTERY NOT THE 2 HOUR FAST CHARGE AS ADVERTISED
