I regularly use power inverters whilst travelling and this is one of my favourite. It's small and compact unlike many others including my 300w Belkin model which is huge in comparison. This plugs into the lighter socket and provides quick and easy power on the move ideal for recharging mobile phone, camera and camcorder batteries. Mine has stood up to over 3 years of heavy use and never let me down. Highly recommended.

The plug that inserts into the cigarette lighter is a bit stiffer than most other plugs - needs a harder pull to get it out again, but no major problem. Also has slight running noise which I'm guessing is an internal fan to keep it cool. But no serious complaints - it does what it says it will!

I've had this inverter for only a few days and cannot comment on its longevity, but all these days it has worked flawlessly. It has a whiny fan that gets irritating (although not noisy, people can sleep), but I guess that's a must for these devices. It is quite good for keeping a laptop powered.
