I brought this for my daughters birthday so that it would be practical aswell as protect the camera if accidentially dropped or knocked. whilst initially it served this purpose i was disappointed that after 4months of occassional use the belt clip came off, but the hard case did protect the camera when it fell on the floor. then a month later the neck strap clip broke.
This great little camera is just whats needed to keep your camera safe from knocks and bumps whilst out and about.
The hard casing protects the camera inside and the camera fits in it snuggly even with the Silicone case on (which is also available from Amazon)both the Silicone case and the hard case are well worth buying to protect your camera.
