4.0 out of 5 stars Accessible, well written 15 Nov 2010
By ARogers
Format:Paperback
I found this book incredibly interesting and accessible. I've read into how the brain works before, and this I found is the easiest way to understand it; it's so informative and accessible to understanding everyday functions, (I guess that was helped from him being self taught on neurology, rather than institutionalised education). The detail is excellent in describing the compartments and functions of the brain, and almost scary to think that a lot of the brain's potential and workings are still undiscovered! If you're looking at this book buy it, I think we all owe it to our brain to understand how it works, how much we really rely on it and unlocking its true potential.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing 4 April 2007
By Dr V
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
This is a great read just for the fun of it, Dispenza's story of self healing a broken back is amazing but without any bull & he shows the key elements of others who ahve done this too.

This book also goes into great detail on how the mind brain & body work together from mainly a scientific viewpoint and how we can make changes to evlove our frontal lobes to quickly change bad patterns of behaviour & replace them with good.

the advice is simple and achieveable by anyone who can read.

Its not a short book as its crammed with lots of information but if you just wish to get to the nitty gritty of making changes its possible to skip the understanding and just work on the bits you need

I hope he will write further books in the future

5.0 out of 5 stars Infinite Sea of Potential 25 Oct 2008
Format:Hardcover
Before attending a seminar this past summer given by Dr. Dispenza, I read this book and found it as fascinating and life altering as the seminar itself. I find myself returning to this book for inspiration and to remind myself that I am not simply flesh and blood but an amazing dynamic living organism. Where emotions do not need to rule my actions or thoughts. Discovering how the mind works and processes thoughts and actions is one of the most profound and powerful tools you can have in creating and living the life you want - not one that is riddled by fleeting emotional ups and downs.

Two other author's works I highly recommend are by Ariel and Shya Kane. The Kanes' work is based in their technology called "Instantaneous Transformation" where neutrally observation of unwanted behaviors, without judging, can have a quantum shift not just in regards to that behavior but in all areas of your life. The Kanes books "Working on Yourself Doesn't Work: The 3 Simple Ideas That Can Instantaneously Transform Your Life", "Being Here: Modern Day Tales of Enlightenment" and "How to Create a Magical Relationship" along with their #1 internet radio show called "Being Here" on The 7th Wave Network channel on Voice America.com are all simply brilliant.

To quote Dr Dispenza "in this infinite sea of potentials that exist around us, how come we keep creating the same realities?" With accessible and insightful works like his and the Kanes you don't need to keep creating unwanted or unsatisfying ways of being or living in today's world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Evolve your brain 21 Aug 2011
Format:Paperback
This book gives you all the information you need about mind and body interaction to understand how you can change patterns of thought and behaviour that are not serving you. If you believe your life is what it is because you have no choice, or you believe in fate and luck or you believe that you cannot break free from the traps of your environment and role models you grew up with, he has news for you. The information puts the responsibility of living a fulfilling life back on you. Unlike some celebrity writers in the human potential movement, Dr Dispenza writes responsibly and provides facts and information that are irrefutable. The book is long to read and you will need time to take it all in, but it pays off. Dr Dispenza's arguments are coherent and he is inspirational.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lifechanging. 19 July 2010
By Lucia
Format:Paperback
It's exciting to read this book, and to realise that it really is possible to change your life. That you're not a victim, but that you can take your power back and mold your life like clay.
You have to read this book piece by piece, not too much all at once, to really let the information 'fire and wire' in your brain.
Life becomes an adventure!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing 10 Oct 2009
Format:Paperback
I have been interested in mind power for as long as I can remember and often wondered just what goes on inside the brain. This book has certainly informed me, the discriptions and drawings are outstanding. I am just about to start reading through it again just in case I missed anything. Well done Joe Dispenza.Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind

5.0 out of 5 stars Gives what it promises 21 Feb 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Joe Dispenza has a passionate and refreshing way to explain the gap between Neuroscience and our human potential in an easy to understand way.
Anyone who is interested in changing his/her life and want to know how it works HAS to get Joe's Books.
I am not a new child when it comes to rewiring old brain-patterns as I have studied extensively Andy Shaw's A Bug Free Mind System (his books are also available on Amazon) which has changed my own life dramatically. Now it is time for me to gain more knowledge so that I can become a teacher to others as well and in which Joes' books have become a invaluable source for me...
