Product Description

Recent developments in science completely disprove the theory of evolution. The only reason Darwinism is still foisted on people by means of a worldwide propaganda campaign lies in the ideological aspects of the theory. This book clarifies the scientific collapse of the theory of evolution for the lay man. It reveals the frauds and distortions committed by evolutionists to "prove" evolution. Anyone who wants to learn about the origin of living things, including mankind, needs to read this book. 238 pages with 166 pictures in colour.

This was the first book I ever read that was entirely devoted to the topic of evolution. After one read I was astonished that I could possibly have been so deceived as to trust in the authority of scientists, science teachers and David Attenborough. However, by the second read I had paid a bit more attention to the introductory chapter which was my home territory; philosophy, history and the history of ideas and it was clear that the author was using rather shoddy tricks of the rhetorician's trade such as `begging the question' and introducing false dichotomies and consistency traps; you can't be a Muslim and believe in evolution etc.
However, the authors did succeed in wetting my appetite for the subject and I have since read scores of books on topics related to evolutionary biology and I have been thrilled by the journey of discovery that Harun Yahya has sent me on. I have in the course of my reading discovered that every argument put forward by the authors of the Evolution Deceit in order to rubbish Darwin and evolutionary biology is incorrect. It really is hard to believe that anyone would have the temerity to publish a book on the subject when they are so lacking in the rudiments and it is hard to resist the conclusion that the book was either cobbled together after reading similar books written by Christian Creationists or produced as a sop for people who simply want to be reassured in their faith.
It is very glossy, written in plain English and has lots of photos and other illustrations, so in terms of style and presentation it is slickly produced, however I couldn't recommend it to anyone who wants to purchase a critique of evolutionary theory or question the fact of evolution because in order to try and do so the authors have produced a straw man to knock down.

Got given this book by some people trying to prove evolution is false, it fails at several levels. I would argue that people reading this book do not atually know what evolution theroy actually is, has not read origen of species. An though may have a interest in science does not have a full understanding of chemistry, genetics and various things mentioned in the book.

The first chapters are completely irrelevant to evolution, and are trying to tie evolution with evil actions in the world, completely over looking that Hitler considered himself a Christian, the crusades, burning of witches etc etc, and that evolution is not a moral model to follow, its a mechanism of how life changes and forms over time. Also completely over looking the fact that his using the same logic as those whom say Islam is evil becasue a few individuals blow themselves up killing innocent people, or christians are evil as some of them have murdered abortion doctors.

Finally moves on to actual evolution theory and gets it all horribly wrong. It's obvious that the author has no science back ground and has no idea of what evolution theory is or what it says. It assumes that the only evidence for evolution is the fossil record throughout most of the book. In reality the fossil record is just a bonus for evidence of evolution, we don't need a single fossil to prove evolution it's just good that we do have them as additional areas of evidence.

The book says that evolution works through chance and that cows don't turn in to dogs etc and there are no transitional fossils.

Steven Bowen misses the point completely.
This book is not a piece of research, and so all the information contained in the book can be found in other books. The book is just a summary, in lay man's terms, of the arguments that make the theory look silly.
I have a degree from Oxford University in physics, and since reading this book I had discussions with my friends, many of whom also have scientific degrees (including disciplines such as genetics) as well as discussions with evolutionists asking them to explain many of Harun Yahya's points.
Steve Bowen says that Harun Yahya's arguments can be shot down without breaking sweat. This is simply not true. None of my semi-intellectual colleagues and friends have been able to dismiss many of Harun's points.
This book is absolutely great and has literally changed my view of life - I say this without exagerating one bit. Yes, I have read many more books regarding evolution that go into more detail, but this is the one that explained things relatively simply and got me interested.
For example, it was only until reading this book did I realise that fossillary evidence, if looked at independently, actually refutes evolution because:
- there are no 'missing links' between any two creatures despite the theory predicting that the earth should be scattered with examples
- all famous 'missing link' fossils so far discovered have later been uncovered as frauds
- according to the fossil records life started suddenly and it was complex from the beginning which is apposed to the evolutionists view
- fossils show that early life was just as complex as life today (evolutionists say that life became increasingly complex with time and early life should be simple)
And this is just one small aspect of the book.
Summary: read this book!
