2.0 out of 5 stars Tedious 20 May 2009

Evil Under the Sun (Wii)

The problem with this game is that there is no real sleuthing involved. You (as Poirot) spend most of the time walking around and around the island looking for clues or items when you don't have any idea what you're looking for. The game is basic point and click but while there are dialogue choices when speaking to the characters, it doesn't matter what sequence you select so the choices are essentially pointless.
To be honest I found it tedious. Finding the clues required stamina rather than any real powers of investigation.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good old fashioned game 1 Dec. 2011

Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
Old fashioned type of point and click adventure game, generally good fun played with a few people as you can talk about it and discuss what to try next etc, though I wouldn't play it alone. Also there are no short-cuts to get from place to place, so it can be a bit tedious having to wander through lots of intermediate screens to get to where you want to go.
The story is obviously based on the book, so if you've read it or more likely seen it on TV then this will help you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Different than your average game 23 Jun. 2010

Unlike most of the market when it comes to wii games Evil Under the Sun makes point and click games fun. Highly recommended for those that are a fan of storyline and actual detecting rather than being action packed. There are a few sections of the game in which it isn't clear on what you have to do, but with enough patience you can crack it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome 31 May 2011

Really enjoyed this game, walking around the island and gathering clues! This game is so hard at times, often having to retake steps to uncover hidden clues. The Stroy is just like the novel and the characters are very good! Theres a freaking sub stroy also which is pretty cool! Took a long time to complete!
