Despite Helena Marnie and Mira Aroyo's beautifully gelled, determinedly optimistic lead vocals, there's something rather sinister and unwholesome at the heart of Ladytron's new single. Electronic backbeats keep the listener's heart pounding, while the bassline which forms the backbone of the track struts along confidently, egging you on to follow it. The bass and backbeats earth the track well, making this a real dark summer treat, to put on your walkman at full volume, while watching the waves crash into the beach.
