Product Description

Scalleum is a remote farming island off the north coast of Wales, only accessible at low tide via a causeway know as the "Devils Spine". The island is also home to an ancient stone circle known as the "Devils Teeth". This provides the sinister setting for the terrifying alien abduction of local farm girl, Cat Williams, and her Hitchhiker boyfriend, Angelo Jones.

"Weird Worlde" is a cable TV program that's having trouble with its ratings. Threatened with losing her job if things don't improve, presenter Michelle Fox (Emily Booth) needs to come up with something special. She puts a team together to investigate the 'Scalleum Incident'. It's an intriguing story with a twist, as Cat Williams's claims to not have just been abducted by aliens, but also impregnated by them! Hence the cynical TV crew accompanied by actors to stage a dramatic reconstruction and UFO expert Gavin Gorman head off to the island. They arrive and experience the weirdness of this remote community, a farm powered by manure and some very twisted Welsh Farmers. The TV crew doesn't believe a word of Cat's story, but Michelle will do anything to save her job even if she has to fake a little evidence.

Tensions rise and things are about to come to a head when, the real stars arrive... Aliens, and they aren't friendly. In fact they are pure Evil! To survive, our eclectic team of characters will have to tool up with whatever weapons they can find, ranging from hammers to machetes, chainsaws to rotary tillers and even a combine harvester! Will they survive the Alien threat? And who will be abducted, mutilated, probed, and decapitated?

4.0 out of 5 stars Extremely Silly Fun! 8 Aug 2008
Format:DVD
"Evil Aliens" has become one of the standard DVDs we show to visiting friends who need to relax, laugh a lot and generally let their hair down.

The film opens with a sex scene, closely followed by possibly the most gory disembowelling you'll ever see...and this all before the credits roll! However, though extremely gory and very tasteless at times, this is the sort of film which absolutely refuses to take itself seriously. Everything's very tongue-in-cheek, hammed-up and generally humorous - taken in its proper context, it's a very funny film.

Watch out for the combine harvester scene, as other reviewers have mentioned. You'll never forget it, and should the world ever be invaded by evil extraterrestrial beings, all those who've seen this movie will be heading for the farm equipment whilst everyone else is still trying to load their guns.

I have a huge fondness for horror films, and usually tend towards more cerebral, often Asian-made, subtle psychological terror offerings. Evil Aliens is none of these things, but if you want to laugh, groan and have a very amusing evening in with broad-minded friends....it's hard to beat.

3.0 out of 5 stars Completely Potty 11 Oct 2006
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
"Evil Aliens" is the tale of an extraterrestrial arrival on a small island off the coast of Wales, where an investigative TV crew have become trapped.

The team, made up of the sexy, ice-maiden TV presenter (who also turns out to possess a Buffy-esque Kung Fu ability), hunky camera crew, an OTT camp actor, another tagalong vixen, and the obligatory sci-fi geek, make up what plays out as an adult Scooby-Do team in their mystery machine. They are forced to team up with the suspicious and stereotyped inbred local farmworkers in an attempt to defend themselves against the aliens' arrival.

Deliberately below the league of "American Werewolf", "Braindead", and so on, we are clearly in Troma territory here with "Evil Aliens". Indeed, there is much Troma-esque about this film. So if you like silly, sexy, comedy B-Movies, this is probably a good place to park your saucer.

4.0 out of 5 stars funny! 5 Sep 2011
Format:DVD
this has every sci fi and horror cliche going, it trys to be funny and succeeds, even has the orignal hollie from red dawf in the opening scenes. its has everything, the backwards locals, the so cliche looking aliens.

If your looking for a serious movie go elsewhere but if your look for the shawn of the dead of killer aliens then this is it.
